Terms and Conditions 2023

Charter Fees

Prices apply for charters of 7 nights minimum. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Included at the Charter fees:

The Yacht s use and its equipment-full inventory and extras as specified for individual yachts, yacht s base mooring

fees,yachts marine insurance, Bed linen-towels (1 set/person/week),blankets, Cooking gas, taxes & VAT*. Current

VAT rate in Greece is 12% (50% discounted rate on the full 24% VAT rate). Should the relevant VAT rate be
increased by law prior to the beginning of the charter, the client shall be charged the difference in the VAT. The
discounted rate is applicable, under the condition that the skipper returns a declaration stamped, by the port
authorities, stating he arrived at a port which lies at a distance greater than 6 nm from the initial port of embarkation.

Not included at the Charter fees:

Fuel & fresh water consumption. Water tanks are being filled upon embarkation-disembarkation from our staff at the

base - Free of charge. Port fees in the ports except from embarkation-disembarkation, Food and drinks, Safety net,

Canal dues, foreign water taxes, Transfers, End cleaning, outboard engine

Yacht Delivery

Check in: embarkation time at 17.00 pm. (local time) Check out: disembarkation time at 09.00am. (Local time)

Payment Conditions

A down payment of 50% of the charter fees is required upon Booking Reservation

A Balance payment of 50% of the charter fee is required 30 days prior to charter embarkation.

Above payments can be made via bank wire transfer.

Security Deposit (refundable), when applicable: The said refundable Security Deposit will cover any damage or loss

of the yacht and her equipment during the cruise. Payable at the base upon embarkation in cash or by credit card

(Visa and MasterCard only).

The amount of the security deposit varies from Euro 1500.00 € up to 2500.00 €.

In case of a skippered charter (skipper provided by us) the Security Deposit is reduced to the typical amount of

500.00 € per booking.

Booking Procedure

In case our offer proposal is at your interest for your sailing holidays, please contact us. We will be glad to send you

any additional information and hold an option on the yacht (without any obligation from you), for a period of 5 days

pending your final conclusion for the booking. A final Booking confirmation with all the details attached will be sent to

you as soon as we receive your reservation confirmation for the charter.

Discount Policy

Early booking discount 10% till 31/01/2023

2 week discount 5% - 3 week discount 10% - Repeater discount 5% - Boat show discount 5%

Group discount 5% for at least 2 yachts booked - Maximum discount 20% including long term discount.

End cleaning for yachts (obligatory): must be paid in the base before embarkation (cash or by credit card)

End cleaning: for 2 cabin 1 wc sailing yachts: 80.00 €

For 3 cabin 1 wc sailing yachts: 100.00 €

Foe 3 cabin 2 wc sailing yachts: 120.00 €

For 4 cabin sailing yachts: 150.00 €

For 5 cabin sailing yachts: 180.00 €

Optional Extras

1 way car transfer for 4 pax Athens/Achillio: 270.00 € per booking

1 way car transfer for 4 pax Thessaloniki/Achillio: 270.00 € per booking

1 way taxi transfer Volos airport/Achillio: 55.00 € per booking

1 way minivan 8 pax Volos airport/Achillio: 90.00 € per booking

1 way minivan 8 pax Athens or Thessaloniki airport/Achillio: 350.00 € per booking  

Beach towels (per piece): 10.00 € per booking

One way fees Achillio (Sporades Islands) – Lavrion 800.00 € per booking

Early check in 13:00 - 14:00: 150.00 € per booking

Extra linen per set( 1 shower towel, 1 face towel, 2 bed linen, 1 pillow case): 10.00 € per booking

Skipper: 150.00 € per day Hostess: 100.00 € per day

Junior life jackets (per piece): 15.00 € per booking

Railing net: 150.00 € per booking

SUP or KAYAK: 180.00 € per week

Wi-Fi 3GB: 50.00 € per booking

Outboard Engine : 80.00

Food - Provisions: Order form will be forwarded upon request, Please fill it and email it back, to us.

Upon your arrival your food and drinks will be on board. Preparation cost: 50.00 € per booking

All extras must be paid in the base before embarkation. (Cash or by credit card)

Insurance

All boats are insured against:

Risks arising from liability to third parties and damage to hull, machinery, and equipment

Damage liability third party and passenger s yacht any one accident.

Sea pollution liability

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation fee of 200 € of the total charter fee, for bookings, canceled within a period of more than 90 days prior

to boat embarkation.

A cancellation fee of 50 % of the total charter fee, for bookings, canceled within a period of 90-30 days prior to boat

embarkation.

A cancellation fee of 100% of the total fee, for bookings, canceled in a period less than 29 days prior to boat

embarkation.

Covid-19 policy: In the event of official government restrictions announced in the host or originating country that

affect the dates of charter, a reschedule (in the same season) will be arrange free of charge. In the event that a

reschedule that suits the clients’ needs is not possible, a credit note valid for 18 months will be issued. The clients

are responsible for communicating their travel restrictions in a timely fashion. Any delays or no-shows will be treated

as a normal cancellation and the normal cancellation policy will apply. This Covid-19 policy is subject to change

according to the Greek government’s future regulations regarding the pandemic.

Claims

No claim is accepted via email after the end of the charter and especially when the boat return to the base and the

Client has no complaints after or during the check out.

Sailing Qualifications

Bareboat Sail-yacht charter in Greece requires two experienced crew members. The first one (skipper) should have

an appropriate sailing certificate, or demonstrate sailing club membership. The second one (co-skipper) should have

sailing experience. Official declarations stating the skipper s competence and the co-skipper s experience may be

also required if the harbor authority considers this necessary. Yacht owner reserves the right to ask charterers to hire

a professional Skipper if their sailing skills are not judged sufficient.
